HOW TO USE:
Scalp massges particularly with the wood comb does not require hard pressure to be effective. Please be kind to your scalp and apply light pressure during every comb.
Step 1:
Apply the 13 Blend hair oil in the scalp and using fingertips, massage in a gentle, light circular motion to distribute the oil and relax and calm the scalp.
Step 2:
Using the scalp massage comb run the comb over the entire scalp starting from the hairline at the front of the face and ending at the hairline on the back of the head. Run the comb right to the end of the neck. It is recommended to repeat each stroke slowly 10 to 20 times.
Step 3:
Focus on the area around the ears also known as the gallbladder meridian and run the comb on your scalp following the curve of the ear, from front to back, 10 to 20 times.
Step 4:
There is an important pressure point at the top of your head known as the Crown Chakra or Bai Hui. This is located at the middle of your head, approximately three (3) fingers from the front of your hairline.
The Crown Chakra is where all of the energies of your body meet, making it one of the most powerful points on the body. By massaging this point in a circular motion, either with one of the rounded teeth of the combs, or with a curvy part of the comb, you will help relieve stress, tension (mental or physical), anxiety, or even sleep issues. You can also turn the comb front to back in a line 10-20 times.
Step 5:
To complete the massage, run the comb slowly up and down in the back of the neck to reduce tension at the middle and both sides. The entire ritual should take you about 5 mins to complete.
